1. Introduction about the Lab

Zheng YAN Laboratory of Westlake University mainly conducts theoretical and numerical research on quantum many-body physics, currently focusing on:

(1) Novel phase and phase transition, quasi-particle excitation of frustrated quantum magnetic system;

(2) Quantum simulation for lattice gauge theory, quantum adiabatic computing, etc.;

(3) Constrained quantum many-body systems, such as quantum dimer/loop models;

(4) Entanglement properties, such as entanglement entropy, entanglement spectrum;

(5) Developing numerical methods for quantum many-bodies, especially quantum Monte Carlo and related algorithms;

Of course, we welcome you to join us if you are interested in quantum many-body, to further explore the advantageous areas and open up new directions together. If you have own fortes, I am very happy to work with you to develop crossover areas! If you are still blank, it doesn't matter, as long as you are studious, we fight side by side!

2. Job Openings

Position 1：One Research Assistant Professor

1)Job Responsibilities:

a) Do a good job in scientific research;

b) Assist PI to supervise graduate students;

c) Assist PI in fund application;

d) Complete other tasks assigned by the laboratory leader.

2)  Qualifications:

a) Doctor's degree;

b) There are 2 or more articles such as PRB;

c) Generally you need have post-doctoral experience unless you did excellent researches.

d) Focus on teamwork, work actively and reliably, and have good communication skills.

Position2：One Research Assistant
