Introduction of The Lab/ Research Field

Dr. He has been engaged in fundamental research in experimental condensed matter physics, explore various developmental phenomena in correlated electronic materials. He was internationally recognized for some major research accomplishments, which include first evidence for broken particle-hole symmetry in the pseudogap phase of high-temperature cuprate superconductors, finding the first experimental case of 3D negative electronic compressibility in a solid (iridate), first observations of novel spin and charge orderings in cuprates, first discovery of 2D electron liquids on complex oxide (titanate and tantanate) surfaces, etc.


Job Description

Position: Postdoctoral Fellow (one)

Requirements:

1) Professional expertise in strongly correlated electron physics, surface science, angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy, (laser) molecular beam epitaxy, scanning probe microscopy, etc.

2) Be able to carry out scientific research independently, have good English speaking and writing skills, and published high-profile SCI papers as the first author or corresponding author.

3) Have good communication skills and teamwork spirit.

Other requirements:

Have obtained or about to obtain a Ph.D. degree, aged under 35.

Responsibilities:


To carry out scientific research independently in strong correlated electron physics, and assist in tutoring students.

Compensation and Benefits

The research team offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. Applications for relevant projects and programs will be encouraged and supported.

For post-doc(s) who selected for China Postdoctoral Science Foundation or Advanced Programs of Zhejiang Province will be entitled to receive the same amount funds from the Hangzhou government.

For post-doc(s) who full-time work in Hangzhou after completing their post-doc research will be eligible for applying allowance of 400,000RMB from the Hangzhou government.
