Through global recruitment, a well-structured interdisciplinary team of world-class scientific leaders in Structural Biology, Cell Biology, Proteomics, Genetics, and other fields has begun to take shape at the School of Life Sciences. To best support the international labs, including PIs and research staff, the School of Life Sciences is recruiting an Intermediate Administrative Assistant for International Labs.

Job Responsibilities

1)Responsible for all aspects of the lab to ensure the laboratory run safely and efficiently;

2)Purchase, maintain and reimburse lab equipment and laboratory supplies;

3)Organize research and administrative meetings;

4)Keep updated with the most updated university regulations pertinent to the lab;

5)Participant in research grant application and management;

6)Other administrative affairs assigned by the lab and School of Life Sciences.


1)Master degree and above, 3+ years of working experience after finishing master degree. 2+ years of oversea study or work experience is preferred.

2)Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (TOEFL 100 and above/IELTS 7.5 and above); Chinese-English translation skills (CATTI level 1 or equivalent level);

3)Excellent Communication skills and multicultural awareness. Able to effectively communicate with international lab members, external collaborators, university staff, and PIs;

4)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong ability of organization and coordination;

5)Diligent, dedicated, careful and meticulous, with high work efficiency, strong service awareness, and creativity in work;

6)Web design skill is a big bonus.
