Network Engineer, 1

Responsibilities:

1)    Responsible for the design, deployment and maintenance of wired and wireless access network for campus network.

2)    Responsible for optimization and maintenance of wired and wireless access network for campus network.

3)    Responsible for the management of network-related construction of campus infrastructure projects.

4)    Complete other tasks assigned by the leader.

Qualifications:

1)    Embracing the mission and values of Westlake University, good sense of responsibility, service awareness, and professional ethics.

2)    Master 's degree or above, major in Computer Science and Technology or Communications Engineering is preferred. HCIP/H3CNE/CCNP, construction engineer (communication and broadcasting engineering) (and above) and other related qualification certifications are preferred.

3)    Familiar with network switching and routing technologies like TCP/IP, VLAN, OSPF, VXLAN, etc. Familiar with main communication protocol sets such as IEEE 802, also should know current mainstream switches, routers, wireless AP/AC and other network interconnection equipment and related basic operations, with strong ability of project design and project management, good communication, coordination and writing skills.

4)    3 years or more of relevant experience, experience in informatization construction at world-known universities, large-scale enterprises or organizations is preferred.

5)    The qualifications may be relaxed for those who are particularly outstanding or have relevant working experiences in top universities or Sino-foreign cooperative universities.
