Yuanmeng earned a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Southern California (USC) and has resided in the United States for 17 years. She has substantive administrative experience in American state universities. Previously, Yuanmeng has been responsible for various Sino-US cooperative programs, and also managed student affairs for undergraduate students and graduate academic affairs. Since 2023, she has held the position of Associate Dean of the Residential College at Westlake, where she leads a team of administrative professionals.
