On October 20, 2018, the second meeting of Westlake University Founding Board of Trustees was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. The meeting was hosted by Yingyi Qian, Chair of the Board.

According to the University Charter, the Board approved the appointment of WANG Xiaocun and Guoqiang Yang as the additional board members by a vote.

According to the University Charter, the Board approved the appointment of Qingke Ji and Xiaoyu Zhu, nominated by president Yigong Shi, as the vice presidents of Westlake University by a vote.
