On June 7, 2020, the Seventh Meeting of Westlake University Founding Board of Trustees was held in Hangzhou. The meeting was hosted by Yingyi Qian, Chair of the Board, attended by 22 Board Trustees, and sit in by Honorary Trustees, Secretary of the Board, and Chair of the Board of Supervisors.

The meeting reviewed the proposal of adjustments of the Board members. The Board approved the appointment of Zhong’an Shi and Bainian Shou as additional Board members, the nomination of Yinglin Qin as Vice Chair of the Board, and the appointment of Ying Qian as Honorary Board member by a vote.

The meeting reviewed the Annual Report of the University and the President, the University Final Account Report, Auditor’s Report, Budget Report, Major Financial Rules and Regulations, Revisions of the University Charter; discussed Governance Report of the Board, 2020 Work Plan of the Committees of the Board; decided on dates of 2021 Board Meetings.
