The Eleventh Meeting of the Westlake University Founding Board of Trustees was held on April 16, with participants in both Hangzhou and Beijing taking part in the event due to the pandemic. Yingyi Qian, chair of the board, presided over the meeting, which was attended by 22 trustees as well as the board of supervisors, and the secretary of the board.

The meeting informed the participants about the list of ex officio trustees appointed to the second term of the board of trustees, and voted on the list of elected trustees for the second term of the board of trustees.

The members of the Second Term of the Westlake University Board of Trustees are: David Baltimore, Chong Chen, Shiyi Chen, Charles CHEN Yidan, Yueguang Chen, DONG Qingyuan, Hailiang Feng, HAN Qide, Jiaxing Huang, KUOK Khoon Chen, Yucong Li, Jianwei Pan, Yingyi Qian, Yinglin Qin, Yi Rao, Neil Shen, Jianjun Shi, Yigong Shi, Zhong'an Shi, Bainian Shou, Xiaoping Tian, Jianlin Wang, Xiao'an Wang, Xiao-Fan Wang, Yiming Xu, Dan Yang and Lei Zhang.

The meeting decided to appoint Jia'er Chen as a senior honorary trustee, and to also appoint Jianping Hu, Chang Wei and Qingjun Ye as honorary trustees.

This was the final meeting of the Westlake University Founding Board of Trustees. Yingyi Qian, chair of the board of trustees, and Yigong Shi, president of Westlake University, both delivered speeches. Participants also viewed a documentary film about the university's founding board of trustees.
