INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Westlake University welcomes international students from all over the world to study with us. From selected short-term and exchange programs to full study programs, we offer a wide range of options for prospective international students. Currently, Westlake is educating graduate students pursuing a PhD in one of 13 research disciplines. In 2022, Westlake will welcome its first class of undergraduate students from China and abroad. We will offer 5 undergraduate programs leading to a bachelor’s degree.

INTERNATIONAL ENGAGEMENT
Westlake Forum on Higher Education
The Westlake Forum on Higher Education invites leaders engaged in higher education from around the world to discuss development trends and challenges from different perspectives and to find common solutions as well as collaborative potentials.
The inaugural forum, sponsored by Westlake University in October 2018, resulted in a joint statement which calls for enhanced international collaboration among universities.
Westlake University-IET@150 Joint Lecture
In 2021, Westlake University and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) has launched a Prestige Lecture series to get high school students around the world interested in the newest developments in science and engineering and inspire and encourage more young people to study science or engineering. Westlake Presented at International Conferences
Westlake University presented virtually at the Forum on Education Abroad Annual Conference from March 21 to 22, 2022 and APAIE (Asia-Pacific Association for International Education) annual conference from March 27 to 31, 2022. These international conferences aimed to provide networking opportunities for professionals in international higher education.
